Manchester City employee dismissed for "United" jersey

On Sunday, a derby match took place within the framework of the English Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the match, the “Manchester City” team defeated “Manchester United” with a score of 3:0. A photo of a bar employee at the “Etihad” stadium circulated on social media.

This man was wearing a “Manchester United” jersey during work hours. Although he wore a sports shirt over it, the zipper was open, clearly showing the “Red Devils” jersey.

This incident led to the employee losing his job. The “Manchester City” club announced that they had dismissed this employee.

The club representatives responded, “Thank you for informing us about this. We can confirm that this individual has indeed been dismissed.”

Thus, it was once again proven that openly showing favoritism towards a team at the workplace can lead to serious consequences. The club and employers require employees to strictly adhere to workplace rules.
