Farhod Nishonov: "Serious games are still ahead of us"
The head coach of the Uzbekistan U-20 national team, Farhod Nishonov, shared his thoughts after the match against Indonesia.
"I am happy with today's victory. I want to thank the boys for this, but serious games are still ahead of us. We need to forget the result of today's game and prepare for the next matches. The important thing is that we have secured points for ourselves, now we will focus all our attention on the upcoming games," said Farhod Nishonov.
Additionally, the team captain Muhammadali O'rinboyev, who scored the second goal in the competition, also shared his thoughts after the game.
"The game went almost according to our plan, I can say. After we scored, the opponent also had opportunities. But during the break, we discussed with our team that we needed to win this game and we used all our possibilities. We are happy to have reached the next stage, but we will also take the field to win in the last game of the group," said O'rinboyev.
For your information, our youth team will play their last group match against Iran on February 19, and the quarter-final matches will take place on February 22 and 23.
