Lewandowski: Football players are becoming more expensive in the Premier League

Polish striker Robert Lewandowski shared his thoughts on the high spending of clubs in the English Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He said that teams are spending large sums to buy players who have not yet had a good season. If a young player scores ten goals within six months, some clubs are ready to pay him sixty or seventy million euros.

Previously, a player had to prove his skill, but now it is unclear whether the price paid corresponds to the actual quality. Lewandowski expressed these views in an interview with Times Sport.

He has never played in the English Premier League. He spent most of his career at Bayern Munich and transferred to Barcelona in 2022.
