Borjes: Courage increased in the second part

Rui Borjes, head coach of Lisbon's Sporting team, expressed dissatisfaction with his players' performance in the second round of the Champions League main tournament against Kazakhstan's Kairat team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the Portuguese players allowed the opponent to control the game, which increased their confidence. In the second half, Sporting faced difficulties in controlling the match, leading to dangerous situations.

At the same time, Kairat's goalkeeper Sherkhan Kalmurza became the youngest goalkeeper in the tournament's history to save a penalty kick. It is worth noting that Kairat reached the Champions League group stage for the first time in their history and will now compete against Madrid's Real team.
