Garcia: I could have played better in the game

Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia shared his thoughts after the Champions League match against Newcastle (2:1). This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Spanish player helped the "blaugrana" team secure three points from England and saved five shots. The "Magpies" scored their only goal in the 90th minute through Anthony Gordon's action.

Joan Garcia rated his performance as good but emphasized that he could have played better if he had not conceded a goal. He expressed his pleasure in participating in such an important game, said everything went well, and that he feels comfortable.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper joined Barcelona from Espanyol in July. His transfer fee amounted to 25 million euros.
