Rashford and three football players compete for the best of the week

The Union of European Football Associations has selected the nominees for the best player of the Champions League group stage first round. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Among these nominees are four footballers. They are Marcus Rashford ("Barcelona"), Dušan Vlahović ("Juventus"), Francisco Trincão ("Sporting" Lisbon), and Marcus Thuram ("Inter" Milan).

Rashford contributed to his team's 2-1 victory by scoring two goals against "Newcastle". Trincão and Thuram each scored two goals in matches against "Kairat" and "Ajax" respectively.

Dušan Vlahović came off the bench in the match against "Borussia" Dortmund, scoring two goals and providing one assist. The second round of the Champions League group stage matches will take place on September 30 and October 1.

In these games, the players will showcase their skills and strive to strengthen their teams' chances of advancing to the next stage.
