Messi attended the Ballon d'Or presentation in Paris

Eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi attended the award ceremony held by France Football magazine for the best players of the past season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The 38-year-old Argentine forward currently represents Inter Miami and came to Paris for the Ballon d'Or presentation ceremony based on the results of the 2024/25 season. Messi is attending the event not alone but together with his family — his wife and children.

Lionel Messi holds the record for winning the Ballon d'Or the most times. He has eight such awards, which is a record.

No one else has won it that many times. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo has only five Ballon d'Or awards.

The ceremony will take place on September 22, and the event is approaching. You can follow the news and details about these events through the text broadcast on our website.
