Ural team defeated PSK 2:1
Psk and Ural teams were the first to take the field in the 1/32 final stage of the Regional Cup. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In the opening minutes of the match, Ilya Vorotnikov launched a quick attack from the left wing and passed the ball to Aleksandr Barantsov in the center of the penalty area. Barantsov took a powerful shot, but the goalkeeper successfully saved it.
In the 30th minute, Yury Zheleznov made an accurate pass from the left wing to the center. Evgeniy Markov outplayed the opposing defenders and headed the ball towards the right goalpost.
Nikita Morozov deceived the goalkeeper from close range and opened the score – 0:1. Then Vladislav Karapuzov carried the ball from the right wing into the penalty area and made an accurate pass to the center.
Vitaliy Bondarev placed the ball into the net without resistance – 0:2. The Psk team took a corner kick from the right wing.
David Zhirnov delivered a good pass to the far post. Danil Kozenov, unnoticed by the Yekaterinburg defenders, made an accurate header – 1:2.
In the second half, Psk players created a set-piece opportunity in front of the opponent’s penalty area. Dmitriy Nechaev skillfully bypassed the wall from 19 meters and tried to strike the top left corner, but the ball went slightly over.
The visitors took a corner kick from the right wing and delivered the ball into the penalty area through short passes. Voronov headed the ball towards the top left corner, but the goalkeeper made an excellent save to neutralize the threat.
Ural team launched a quick attack as Morozov rapidly advanced down the left wing and took a powerful shot, but the goalkeeper saved the ball again. As a result, Ural secured the right to advance to the 1/16 final.
