Maximilian Bayer gave stem cells against blood cancer

He donated his hematopoietic stem cells for research against blood cancer – leukemia. Bayer's goal is for his charitable act to serve as an inspiration to others.

He wants to help the medical field and hopes that others will also understand the importance of such responsible actions. Currently, Bayer is 22 years old and has been playing for Borussia since last year.

His previous clubs include Hoffenheim and Hannover 96. Additionally, he has appeared in four matches for the German national team.
