Former CSKA Tashkent player Oleg Kornauhоv commented on the transfer of midfielder Daler Kuzyayev from Saint Petersburg's Zenit to Kazan's Rubin club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, Kuzyayev was invited to this team to enrich the squad and increase the number of quality players. The specialist noted that Daler will need time to adapt to the new team and may face some difficulties in the initial matches.

On September 24, the Kazan club announced that they had signed a contract with Kuzyayev. The 32-year-old Russian footballer signed a short-term contract with Rubin until 2026.

His previous team was the French club Le Havre. This transfer is regarded as an important step aimed at further strengthening Rubin's squad.
