Simeone aiming to become Champions League winner

In the sixth round of the Spanish championship, Madrid's "Atletico" team won 3:2 against "Rayo Vallecano". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Former Russian national team player Igor Kolyvanov shared his opinion about this match. "Atletico has a strong character.

With a coach like Simeone, such character is inevitable. He will continue working until he turns the team into Champions League winners," the expert said on the "Match TV" channel.

Also, Argentine forward Julian Alvarez scored three goals for the "mattress makers," playing an important role in the team's victory. The team under Diego Simeone is currently in ninth place in the La Liga standings with 9 points after six games.
