Additionally, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona quickly recalled Diego Kochen from the youth world championship. The 19-year-old goalkeeper was scheduled to defend the US youth national team in the tournament held in Chile, but now he will be the backup goalkeeper for Szczesny in the team managed by Hans-Dieter Flick.

Diego Kochen has previously been included in Barcelona's official match list but has not yet made his debut. Also, another goalkeeper in the Catalan team, Marc-André ter Stegen, remains sidelined for a long time due to injury.
