Jerrard said he would not start at current Barcelona

Former renowned footballer Steven Gerrard shared his thoughts about the possibility of playing in the starting lineup of today's major clubs during his prime. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He stated that during his peak performance period, he would have played in the starting lineups of current teams like Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham, Bayern Munich, PSG, and Napoli. However, Steven expressed doubt only about the Barcelona team.

He said that Barcelona's style of play does not suit him. In a video published by ESPN, Gerrard openly expressed this opinion.

Many fans responded to this video. Some believe that Gerrard might not be able to make the starting lineup of the current Real Madrid team because the squad has very strong players, including Jude Bellingham.

Thus, Steven Gerrard admitted that based on his playing style and the demands of modern football, he might not fit some teams. This has sparked widespread discussions among football enthusiasts.
