Pogostnov was surprised about Tiknizyan's Serbian citizenship

Lokomotiv team defender Yegor Pogostnov shared his thoughts on the victory against Rubin in an exclusive interview with Euro-Futbol.ru. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He emphasized that the team won after five draws and said that such results should continue. Pogostnov noted that the team temporarily rose to first place, but it is difficult to assess the current state of the competition, and the main task is to continue winning.

He stated that attributing Lokomotiv's goal to a mistake by the opposing goalkeeper would be wrong, and that the team played deservedly to win today's match. The former footballer expressed his satisfaction that Kvaratskhelia ranked twelfth among the candidates for the "Golden Ball" and wished him continued good performance.

Pogostnov approved of Dembele winning the "Golden Ball" and emphasized that this award is deserved due to his many trophies. He also touched on the rivalry between Dembele and Yamal, saying that Dembele is more justified since Yamal has not won in the Champions League.

He acknowledged PSG's excellent performance last season and that Luis Enrique was recognized as the best coach. Additionally, the former Lokomotiv player expressed surprise upon hearing that Tiknizyan had obtained Serbian citizenship.
