Serbian President Vucic confirmed the election defeat

An unexpected political shift occurred in Serbia. One.uz reported on this.
The country's president, Aleksandar Vučić, officially confirmed that his party's "United Serbia" coalition suffered a defeat in the early autumn parliamentary elections. This was reported by "Strana" publication, citing "Nova" and "Blic" publications.
According to the election results, the main opposition force, the "Students' Protest List," secured a reliable victory and gained the opportunity to form a government independently. Vučić admitted defeat. When approached by journalists after the polling stations closed, Aleksandar Vučić stated without hiding the results: "It is clear that we lost in these elections."
According to his information, the "Students' Protest List" won. Although the vote counting process has not yet concluded, it was determined that closing the gap between the leading and trailing forces is impossible.
This statement is considered one of the most open and unexpected tremors in Serbian political history. Distribution of mandates in Parliament The initial counts for the 250 parliamentary seats in the Serbian Assembly show the following results.
The opposition coalition "Students' Protest List" secured 135 seats, gaining an absolute majority in parliament. This is not related to their coalition terms; it means they have the right to make independent decisions and form a government.
The ruling "United Serbia" blocks remained in second place with 105 mandates. The official election commission has not yet announced the final protocols, but a drastic change in the balance of power is not expected.
This result could mark a new stage in Serbia's domestic policy and geopolitical processes in the Balkan region.
