Former Spartak footballer Aleksandr Mostovoy commented on the possibility of inviting the current "red-white" team head coach Deyan Stankovich to the position of head coach of the Serbia national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Previously, Dragan Stojkovic had decided to leave the Serbia national team. This decision was made after the match held in the country, in which they lost 0-1 to the Albania team.
According to Mostovoy, if the Serbia federation invites Stankovich, he will gladly accept the offer and it will be the right decision. Currently, the Serbia national team is in third place after five matches in Group K competitions, having accumulated seven points.
On October 14, the Serbia team will play an away game against Andorra. The eighth round match of the competition will start at 21:45 Moscow time.
