Ghana national team qualified for the World Cup

The team clearly topped its group in the qualifying stage, accumulating 25 points after ten rounds. In the final match on Sunday, they won 1-0 against the Comoros Islands national team.

Ghana will participate in the World Cup for the sixth time. The team's best result was recorded in 2010 when they reached the quarter-finals.

At the 2022 World Cup held in Qatar, the Ghana national team did not advance beyond the group stage. The upcoming World Cup will take place from June 11 to July 19.

For the first time, 48 teams will participate in this tournament. This format is expected to intensify the competition within the championship.
