Michael Carrick may become the coach of Glasgow Rangers

Former Manchester United midfielder and current football coach Michael Carrick may be invited to work in the Scottish Championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

This was reported by the Daily Mail publication. According to the source, the Glasgow Rangers club is interested in offering the specialist a position.

Earlier, the Scottish team planned to call legendary Liverpool player Steven Gerrard to the head coach position, but he declined the offer. Carrick's last team was Middlesbrough, which he left at the end of last season.

Currently, Rangers are only in eighth place in the Scottish Championship. Therefore, the team feels the need for a coaching change.

Michael Carrick's experience and knowledge could be beneficial for the club. With the start of the new season in Scottish football, teams are striving to improve their performance.

It is expected that Carrick's arrival will help improve Rangers' results.
