Stankovich may become head coach of the Serbia national team

Deyan Stankovich, the current head coach of Moscow’s Spartak team, may become the new head coach of the Serbia national team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

TPK News also reports on this. According to the source, Stankovich is considered the main candidate for the head coach position of the national team.

Additionally, former coach of Crvena Zvezda Milosh Miloyevich and former head coach of Partizan Zarko Lazetich are also on the list of candidates. According to foreign sources, if Stankovich had not been managing Spartak, he would have already taken over the Serbia national team.

His contract with the Moscow club is scheduled until 2027, but due to unsatisfactory recent results, he may be dismissed soon. This situation could bring significant changes for Serbian football.

The national team is expected to continue its activities under a new head coach.
