Melyohin reported his condition after head injury

Russia national team defender Viktor Melyohin provided information about his health. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

It should be remembered that in a friendly match against the Iran national team, Melyohin received a kick to the head. Currently, he has a small cut on his ear, but it is already healing.

Therefore, the situation is as usual, everything is fine, says the footballer. However, doctors noted that this injury could have been much more serious.

Melyohin added that there was no need to stitch his ear; it was only slightly taped. The BetBoom game between the Russia and Iran national teams was held in a full stadium in the city of Volgograd.

The team led by Valery Karpin won with a score of 2:1. It is also worth recalling that in October, the Russia national team did not lose in a match against Bolivia in Moscow, ending with a 3:0 score.
