Taranov: The match between "Lokomotiv" and CSKA will have few goals

Former CSKA footballer Ivan Taranov shared his thoughts about the upcoming match between Lokomotiv and CSKA in the 12th round of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In his opinion, this game might be closed and low-scoring, as the last cup match between the teams was similar. Taranov emphasized that the team that scores first will have the advantage, and the game will continue cautiously in the following minutes.

Currently, CSKA's defense is more reliable, but their attacking line is not very strong. Conversely, Lokomotiv appears stronger in attack compared to their opponent.

According to Taranov, although Lokomotiv has a slight advantage in attack, it is difficult to create many chances against CSKA's defense. He said the team that scores first will be closer to victory.

So far, after 11 rounds, Lokomotiv is in second place with 23 points, while CSKA leads the championship with 24 points. This match is considered an important stage in testing the strength between the teams.
