
The football statistics analysis portal Opta has published new predictions regarding the conclusion of the current season of the English Premier League. It indicates the clubs with the highest likelihood of finishing in the top five and securing a Champions League spot by the end of the season.
For now, since Liverpool and Arsenal are significantly ahead of their rivals, the main focus is on the other five teams competing for the top five.

According to the analysis results, Manchester City, which is currently on a six-match unbeaten streak, has the highest chance of qualifying for the Champions League at 95.1%. The publication believes that the "Citizens" will finish the season in third place.
The highest probability for the fourth spot is given to Nottingham Forest at 80.1%. Newcastle is predicted to take the fifth position with a 77.6% chance.
The chances of Chelsea and Aston Villa are relatively low. Specifically, the probability for the "Blues" under Mauricio Pochettino is 29.7%, while Aston Villa under Unai Emery stands at 17.3%.
