Uzbekistan's young boxers set record results at the Asian Championship!
The Asian Championship for youth under 15 and under 17 years old took place in Amman, the capital of Jordan. In this prestigious competition held under the auspices of the "World Boxing" international organization, the Uzbekistan national team achieved bright results, once again demonstrating its strength on the continental level.

According to the overall team results, the Uzbekistan youth team finished the competition with 44 medals. Our young glove masters managed to secure 16 gold, 15 silver, and 13 bronze medals. With this result, the Uzbekistan team placed second, just slightly behind its neighboring and traditional rival Kazakhstan in the overall standings.

Notably, Kazakhstan also secured 44 medals, just like Uzbekistan. They also finished with 16 gold, 15 silver, and 13 bronze, but managed to take first place with a slight difference in overall points.

Additionally, the Indian national team showed strong results, finishing third with a total of 43 medals (15 gold, 6 silver, and 22 bronze). The top five of the competition was rounded out by the teams from Ukraine (5 gold, 7 silver, 24 bronze) and Iran (1 gold, 5 silver, 5 bronze).

It should be noted that no team matched the quality and high-level performances of our young boxers participating in the competition. Our 51 boxers accumulated a total of 140 points, placing first in this regard. The Kazakhstan team, which showed the closest results to us, participated with 56 boxers and finished second with 138 points.

In total, young boxers from 18 countries tested their luck at this Asian Championship. The younger generation of the Uzbekistan national team once again confirmed that the future of boxing in our country is bright. This result will undoubtedly serve as an additional impetus to further popularize this sport in our country and to ensure our youth's successful participation in international arenas.
