On June 17 of this year, the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, made an official visit to the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana. There, the second summit of "Central Asia – China" took place.
During the summit, the leader of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, particularly emphasized that the Uzbekistan national team has qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and recognized this as a tremendous success.
– Before giving the floor to esteemed Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, I sincerely congratulate him on the Uzbekistan national team reaching the World Cup final. This is a proud moment for the entire region, – said Tokayev.
