Abinur Nurimbet: “Turon” with Uzbek legionnaires shoulder to shoulder — my goal is to reach the Kazakhstan national team!
The Kazakhstan Premier League has been in the spotlight for Uzbek football fans this season. The main reason for this is the presence of four Uzbek legionnaires in the “Turon” club. Shahboz Umarov, Behruz Asqarov, Xurshid Muxtorov, and Odiljon Abdumajitov are part of the main lineup of “Turon” and each of them is delighting fans with their performances.

In addition to them, there is another talented player in the team who is not unfamiliar with Uzbek football — we are talking about Abinur Nurimbet, one of Kazakhstan's brightest talents, who once played for “Andijon.”

In an interview with journalists, Abinur reflected on his experiences in Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.

“I made my debut at the adult level in Belarusian football. There, local coaches placed great trust in me. This was very important for me. It was there that I got the opportunity to play regularly in the main lineup for the first time and showcase my potential,” said the footballer.

Speaking about the Uzbekistan championship, Nurimbet particularly noted the technical superiority of Uzbek players:

“Uzbek footballers are very strong technically. They can demonstrate their skills even at high speeds. In this regard, the Uzbek championship helped me grow. However, the Kazakhstan championship has more physical battles and a higher pace of play. I am also trying to show myself here.”

Abinur also talked about his goals for the current season:

“My personal goal is to secure a place in the youth national team, and then to reach the Kazakhstan national team. On a club level, I really want “Turon” to become a sensation this year.”

It is worth mentioning that Abinur Nurimbet is a graduate of the “Taraz” club and has played for “Energetik-BGU” and “Gomel” teams in Belarus. In mid-2023, he signed a contract with “Andijon” and quickly gained the attention of Uzbek fans.

His versatility is also noteworthy — despite being an attacking midfielder, he can also operate on the left wing and as a central striker when needed.

In short, Abinur Nurimbet has found his game in “Turon” and is a young talent we may see in the Kazakhstan national team in the future. His journey into big football is just beginning — and on this path, he will undoubtedly delight not only local fans but also Uzbek supporters with his actions.
