Arne Slot responded to Steven Gerrard's criticisms

“Liverpool” head coach Arne Slot responded to criticisms from the club's former player and legend Steven Gerrard. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Gerrard had called on the Dutch specialist to reduce complaints about the defensive style of play of opposing teams. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Arne Slot said he had not fully heard what Gerrard said, but emphasized that he always regards “Liverpool” with respect and affection. The coach also admitted that he talks a lot about defensive play — that is, the low block.
According to him, his team is often forced to play against such a defensive style from opponents. Slot recalled that during Gerrard's playing days, he was skilled at breaking through the low block.
He added that he might use different expressions on this topic or not comment at all. “Anyway, everyone is aware of this,” the coach said.
It is reported that “Liverpool” will play an away match against “Bournemouth” on Saturday.
