Arbeloa: Victory against Benfica – our main goal

Real Madrid's head coach Alvaro Arbeloa shared his thoughts ahead of the Champions League match against Benfica. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The match will take place in Lisbon on January 28 as part of the final round of the group stage. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

Currently, the Benfica team is managed by the well-known coach Jose Mourinho. There were rumors recently that he might return to Real Madrid.

In his interview, Alvaro Arbeloa said: "Our main goal is to advance to the Champions League quarterfinals. Benfica's stadium has always held special significance for the Madrid team."

As a reminder, in May 2014, Real Madrid defeated Atletico 4-1 at the Estádio da Luz stadium in Lisbon, Portugal's capital, to win the Champions League trophy for the tenth time. Although Arbeloa was part of the team for that match, he did not play on the field and remained on the bench.
