“Shanghai Shenhua” lost in the Asian Champions League

Under the management of Leonid Slutskiy, “Shanghai Shenhua” played an away match against Japan’s “Sanfrecce Hiroshima” club in the 6th round of the AFC Champions League group stage and lost 0-1. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, the decisive goal of the match was scored in the 78th minute by Hiroshima defender Hayato Araki.
This defeat marked the third consecutive loss for “Shanghai Shenhua” in the tournament. The team’s current state continues its failures in the championship.
After six rounds played, “Shanghai Shenhua” has only collected 4 points and is currently in 11th place in the tournament standings. Meanwhile, “Sanfrecce Hiroshima” has accumulated 11 points and occupies 3rd place.
