Abduqodir Husanov in Asia's symbolic team!

Another joyful news has spread about Abduqodir Husanov, defender of the Uzbekistan national team and Manchester City club. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS) announced the symbolic team of Asia's strongest football players based on the results of 2025. The 21-year-old Husanov was also included in this prestigious list.
This symbolic team includes players from four countries. Five players were selected from Japan, three from South Korea, two from Saudi Arabia, and only Abduqodir Husanov from Uzbekistan was included in this team.
This is a great achievement for Uzbek football. The 2025 symbolic team formed by IFFHS is as follows: goalkeeper Dzion Suzuki (Japan), defenders Abduqodir Husanov (Uzbekistan), Reo Hatate (Japan), and Min Dae Kim (South Korea).
Among the midfielders are Kang In Lee (South Korea), Muhammad Kanno (Saudi Arabia), Kaishu Sano and Ritsu Doan (both from Japan). The attacking line is completed by Salim Ad-Dawsari (Saudi Arabia), Heung-Min Son (South Korea), and Takefusa Kubo (Japan).
The year 2025 was truly a bright period for Abduqodir Husanov. On January 20, he transferred from the French club Lens to the English club Manchester City and signed a long-term contract.
This transfer further strengthened Husanov's status on the international stage. He entered history as one of the first Uzbek footballers to participate in the English Premier League.
It was also noted that Husanov secured the opportunity to participate in the 2026 World Cup with the national team. This selection is not just a list of names but a recognition of Husanov's year-long hard work and determination.
Now, even higher achievements are expected from him on bigger stages. For the fans, one thing is clear: Abduqodir Husanov will not turn back from his path.
