Opta: “Arsenal” is the main contender for the Champions League title

After the draw ceremony for the Champions League play-off stage, statistics and models have been updated. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Opta supercomputer also announced its new predictions based on the draw results and presented the most interesting information related to the tournament. According to Opta's calculations, Arsenal is recognized as the main contender to win the Champions League with a 30.6% probability.
This figure indicates that the London club is currently one step ahead of its competitors. In second place is the German club Bayern Munich (15%), and the top three is completed by England's Manchester City (11%).
Another notable point is related to Real Madrid. According to Opta's calculations, the "Royal Club" has dropped out of the list of favorites.
Their chance of winning is estimated at only 1.7%, and the team has fallen from eighth to twelfth place. This situation shows that the draw results and the overall situation have negatively affected Real's rating.
According to Opta, the main contenders for the 2025/26 Champions League title are as follows: 1. Arsenal — 30.6% 2.
Bayern Munich — 15% 3. Manchester City — 11% 4.
Liverpool — 8.8% 5. Chelsea — 7.3% 6.
Barcelona — 7.2% 7. PSG — 4.9% 8.
Newcastle — 3.2% 9. Inter — 2.6% 10.
Tottenham — 2.3% 11. Sporting — 1.8% 12.
Real Madrid — 1.7% The remaining teams have less than a 1% chance and can only win if unexpected events occur. Undoubtedly, in the play-off stage, the form on the field, not the team name, is of great importance.
Only time will tell how accurate Opta's predictions will be. Source: One.uz.
