Postekoglu: "Tottenham" is not a big club yet

Former head coach of London's "Tottenham" club, Ange Postekoglu, shared his opinions on the team's transfer policy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, Postekoglu monitored the club from the inside for two years and emphasized that although "Tottenham" tries to present itself as one of the big clubs, it does not yet hold such a status.
The coach cited "Arsenal" as an example. According to him, "Arsenal" does not hesitate to spend large sums to acquire the necessary players.
For instance, the transfer of Declan Rice is a clear example, with the club allocating 100 million pounds to purchase this player. Postekoglu noted that "Tottenham" is not ready for such major transfers.
Earlier, it was reported that "Tottenham" had relieved Thomas Frank from his position as head coach. Currently, after the 26th round of the English Premier League, "Tottenham" has accumulated 29 points and occupies 16th place in the league table.
