Kimmich: Staying at Bayern is optimal for Upamecano

Bayern's midfielder Joshua Kimmich shared his thoughts on the future of the team's defender Dayot Upamecano. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He revealed that he has had several conversations regarding the contract extension with Upamecano. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

According to Kimmich, he openly expressed his opinion to the French footballer. In the midfielder's view, staying in Munich could be the most optimal decision for Upamecano, as the terms offered by Bayern are very attractive.

However, the final decision should be made by the player himself. It is worth recalling that Dayot Upamecano was transferred from Leipzig to Bayern in 2021 for 42 million euros.

His current contract is valid until June 30, 2026. This season, the defender has participated in 28 matches for the Munich team, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist.
