Coach change in “Real” did not solve the problems

Madrid’s Real club faced a coaching change mid-season, but these changes did not immediately improve the atmosphere within the team. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Spanish media reports, internal pressure is affecting the team’s results. In January, Real made an important decision regarding coaching by dismissing Xabi Alonso and appointing Alvaro Arbeloa as head coach.
The club issued an official statement about this, and international sports publications also covered these changes. However, there are now reports that some decisions made by Arbeloa within the team are being viewed with skepticism.
It is said that players are discussing the coach’s tactical choices and his trust in the players. According to sources, this situation resembles the previously observed “locker room problem” at the club.
That is, mechanisms have formed where experienced or highly respected players indirectly influence the coach’s decisions. For this reason, Arbeloa is facing difficulties in fully implementing his ideas.
It has become known that this problem is not unique to Arbeloa’s tenure. Similar situations were observed during the periods of Xabi Alonso and the previous coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Coaching changes cannot instantly resolve psychological issues within the internal environment. At the same time, players are not openly expressing their dissatisfaction in public.
Although everything appears to be in order externally within the team, issues of internal trust and mutual acceptance have not yet been fully resolved. This situation is a particular challenge for Alvaro Arbeloa, who lacks extensive experience managing a team filled with big stars.
The main task for the young coach is to earn respect in the locker room. Because at Real, results are connected not only to on-field performance but also to the mood within the team.
The key question now is: can Arbeloa turn this pressure to his advantage and unite the team? If results stabilize in the coming weeks, confidence may be restored.
Otherwise, internal problems may intensify. In short, the main struggle at Real continues not only on the field but also in the locker room.
