Arbeloa is resting Mbappe for the match against Real Sociedad

The head coach of Madrid's "Real", Alvaro Arbeloa, explained the reason why Kylian Mbappe was not fielded in the match against "Real Sociedad" last Saturday within the framework of La Liga. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Although "Real" won this match 4-1, the team's main striker watched the game from the bench and did not take the field. This was reported by euro-football.ru.

According to the coach, Mbappe's physical condition is good, but precautionary measures were taken so that he would be ready to play in the starting lineup in the important match against "Benfica" next week in the Champions League. Arbeloa said: "We did not want to risk his health.

He will be ready to play in the match on Tuesday," he said. The "Royal Club's" match against "Benfica" will take place in Lisbon in the Champions League playoff round.

The return match is scheduled to be held on February 25 at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.
