The Hungarian goalkeeper sustained the injury during the match between RB Leipzig and Wolfsburg. He was forced to leave the field in the first half as he could not continue playing.

According to doctors' conclusions, Gulacsi has a torn medial collateral ligament in his left knee. However, the good news is that he does not require surgery.

Peter Gulacsi has participated in 22 official matches this season and kept a clean sheet in 10 of them. Currently, RB Leipzig holds fifth place in the German championship standings with 40 points.
