According to *euro-football.ru*, the 30-year-old footballer said that he had been negotiating with the Italian club for a long time.
The transfer almost reached completion, but due to an unexpected circumstance, the deal did not go through. Sorokin stated that Torino had only one available spot for players who are not part of the European Union.
He was ready to fly from London to Italy for a medical examination, but at the last moment, the club chose another player. "At the last moment, they decided to take another player from Serie A," Sorokin said.
According to information, Egor Sorokin played for Kazakhstan's Kairat club from 2024 to 2026. He appeared in a total of 54 matches for this team, scored 2 goals, and made 2 assists.
Recently, he transferred to China's Chengdu Rongcheng club.
