Russia and Mali face each other for the first time in a friendly match

Russian coach Valery Nepomnyashchy shared his thoughts about the friendly match between Russia and Mali. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The match will take place on March 27. This was reported by euro-football.ru.
According to Nepomnyashchy, under the current circumstances and international restrictions, playing against any opponent would be beneficial for the Russian national team. Although he included the Mali team among strong opponents, he stated that this team is not an absolute favorite.
Additionally, the coach cited Senegal and Cameroon as technically strong teams. He described Ghana and Mali as teams with a lineup close to physical football.
According to the FIFA ranking, Mali currently holds the 54th position, while Russia is ranked 36th. Until now, these two national teams have never faced each other.
This friendly match is expected to be important for both teams to gain experience and test their capabilities.
