Antonio Rüdiger in the starting lineup against Benfica!

Real Madrid has decided to reinstate central defender Antonio Rüdiger in the starting lineup for the Champions League match against Benfica. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This information was reported by euro-football.ru. The "Royal Club" will host Benfica at their home ground in the second leg of the playoff stage.

The match is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. According to Diario AS, Antonio Rüdiger, who remained on the bench in the La Liga game against Osasuna (1:2), will start on the field from the first minutes this time.

The coaching staff led by Alvaro Arbeloa has decided to return the defender to the starting lineup. At the same time, Real intends to take care of Rüdiger's health.

Until the player fully recovers, it is planned to avoid playing him twice a week. This caution is considered important for the team's long-term plans.

It is worth recalling that in the first match, Real managed to defeat Benfica 1-0 in Lisbon. Now the team aims to achieve a successful result in the return leg as well.
