Kerrik: There was a lack of precision in the attack, but we are improving

After the match against Everton in the 27th round of the English Premier League, Manchester United head coach Michael Kerrick shared his thoughts. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He emphasized that every point and victory in the Premier League is extremely challenging, and the team is gaining experience in such a tough environment. — This is the Premier League, winning here is not easy.
But we are continuing to learn. Overall, today's game went well for us, — said Kerrick.
According to the coach, the team tried to control the game, but the main problem was noticed in the final phase of the attack. That is, there was no problem in advancing the ball and creating chances, but there was a lack of precision and creativity in the decisive strikes.
— There was a slight lack of sharpness and creativity in the final phase of the attack. We needed to be stronger in the penalty area, — the coach added.
Nevertheless, Kerrick noted that the dangerous chances created and the goal scored at the end of the game gave the team confidence. He evaluated this situation as an important signal: the team showed that it is possible to get results even when not in the best form.
— This gives us confidence and fighting spirit. So, even if we are not at our best, we can achieve success, — he said.
Kerrick also expressed his opinion about the attacking line. According to him, the team's forward players have various strong points and are capable of performing several roles.
This is one of United's main advantages. — Our attacking players have different strengths.
They can play in different positions. Sometimes they operate not in their usual spots but elsewhere.
If they understand their tasks correctly and perform well, I have no objections. This gives us flexibility, — Kerrick concluded.
In conclusion, the coach emphasized that the team continues to grow and that results are coming. However, he added that if a bit more sharpness is added to the attacking line, Manchester United's play and results will be even better.
