Dani Olmo: My experience playing in the central role is increasing

Dani Olmo, midfielder of the "Barcelona" football team, shared his thoughts on how playing in Pedri's position due to his injury is going. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

However, after Pedri's absence, the team has to take on more responsibility in the center. Olmo, speaking about his experience in this new role, emphasized that as a central midfielder he has more interaction with the ball.

According to him, playing in the attacking "number ten" position sometimes leads to being disconnected from the game, but in the central position, such situations occur less often. He also added that it is much more difficult to cover opponents when they play deep in defense.

At the same time, Olmo mentioned the most challenging situations he faces in the new role. In his opinion, the process of returning to defense and stopping a counterattack when opponents launch a quick attack is one of the most uncomfortable aspects.

On Saturday, "Barcelona" will host "Villarreal" at home. Dani Olmo is expected to play an important role for the team in this match.
