The injured goalkeeper was rescued on the football field

An unusual incident occurred during the football match between the "Mevlanakapi Guzelhisar" and "Istanbul Yurdum Spor" teams in Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

During the game, while the goalkeeper was clearing the ball, it accidentally hit a seagull flying across the field. A video capturing this event spread widely on social media.

According to euro-football.ru, after the incident, players from both teams immediately ran towards the bird.

Gani Chatan, the captain of the "Istanbul Yurdum Spor" team, quickly assessed the situation and began performing indirect heart massage on the bird. Afterwards, the seagull was handed over to medical staff standing at the edge of the field.

According to Turkey's AA portal, the seagull survived. Initially, it was said that it might not be able to fly for some time, but after being handed over to veterinarians, it is expected to gradually recover.

This incident was remembered as one of the examples of humanity shown on the football field.
