Martines: Ronaldo is setting an example for the team

The head coach of the Portugal national team, Roberto Martinez, shared his thoughts about the famous forward Cristiano Ronaldo. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Euro-football.ru reported on this. According to Martinez, since joining the national team, Ronaldo has been setting an example.

It was noted that as the team captain, he is a role model for everyone. The coach also shared his views on the player's career.

According to him, Ronaldo is no longer the player who actively moves along the wing as he did during his first period at Manchester United. Martinez emphasized that Ronaldo is important to the team in his new role.

His current task is not to perform the classic "number nine" role, but to effectively finish attacks. Additionally, the Portugal national team is scheduled to participate in the upcoming World Cup.

This tournament will be held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
