Football players saved the life of the referee on the field

An extraordinary event occurred during a football match in Turkey. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

A video showing the incident that happened during the game between the teams "Mevlanakapy Guzelhisar" and "Istanbul Yurdum Spor" went viral on social media. At one moment in the match, when the goalkeeper tried to clear the ball, it touched a starling flying over the field.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. After the bird fell to the ground, players from both teams immediately ran to its side.

The captain of the "Istanbul Yurdum Spor" team, Gani Chatan, quickly assessed the situation and began providing first aid to the starling. He tried to save its life by performing indirect heart massage on the bird.

After that, the bird was handed over to medical staff at the edge of the field. According to Turkey's AA news agency, the starling's life was saved.

The bird may not be able to fly for some time, but after being handed over to veterinary services, its recovery is expected. This incident ended positively thanks to the kindness of the football players and medical personnel.
