Mostovoy: It is difficult to evaluate Safonov's performance at PSG

Former Russian footballer Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his thoughts on PSG goalkeeper Matvey Safonov's performances. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, Safonov is striving to make the most of the opportunities given at the Paris club. However, because PSG's level is very high, it is not easy to give a clear assessment of the goalkeeper's performance.

This was reported by euro-football.ru. According to Mostovoy, in some matches for PSG, the goal may only be threatened once or twice.

In other teams, however, the goalkeeper is forced to demonstrate his skills up to 20 times in a single game. For this reason, it is difficult to fully evaluate Safonov's performances.

According to him, it is always possible to find some flaw or focus on other aspects. On Wednesday, PSG drew 2-2 at home against Monaco in the Champions League.

Based on the results of the two matches, the Paris club advanced to the round of 16 with a 5-4 aggregate score. In the next stage, PSG is expected to face either Barcelona or Chelsea.
