Karpin: In friendly matches, the lineup is important, not the result

The head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, shared his thoughts ahead of the friendly matches against the Mali and Nicaragua national teams. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was reported by euro-football.ru. According to the coach, the main focus in these matches will not be on the result, but on evaluating the players in the team lineup.
He plans to call up all the players he trusts and wants to see during the game process for the Russian national team. Additionally, Karpin emphasized that, barring any force majeure circumstances, he hopes all called-up players will arrive at the training camp on time.
The match between Russia and Nicaragua will take place on March 27 at the stadium in Krasnodar. The match against the Mali national team is scheduled to be held on March 31 in Saint Petersburg.
It is worth noting that according to the decision of FIFA and UEFA, the Russian national team has been banned from participating in international competitions. Therefore, these friendly matches are seen as a unique opportunity for the team to gain experience and test new players.
