Karpin: The score does not matter in friendly matches

The head coach of the Russian national football team, Valery Karpin, shared his thoughts ahead of the friendly matches against the Mali and Nicaragua national teams. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, Karpin emphasized that there is no need to place great importance on the score in these games.
He is focusing primarily on assessing the players' condition and testing the players he trusts. The coach hopes that all the players called up for the training camp will arrive as expected.
If no unexpected situations arise, the team will assemble in full. The match between Russia and Nicaragua is scheduled to take place on March 27 at the stadium in Krasnodar.
The game against Mali will be held on March 31 in Saint Petersburg. It is also worth noting that, according to the decision of FIFA and UEFA, the Russian national team is banned from participating in international competitions.
Therefore, currently, they continue their activities only through friendly matches.
