Karpin: In games, not the result but the players are important

The head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, shared his thoughts about the friendly matches against the Mali and Nicaragua national teams. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to euro-football.ru, the coach emphasized that the main goal of these matches is not the result, but to observe the players' performance and assess their capabilities.
Karpin stated that he plans to involve all players who have the confidence of the national team in these games. Unless unexpected circumstances arise, all players are expected to attend the training camp.
The match between the Russian and Nicaraguan national teams is scheduled to take place on March 27 in Krasnodar. The game against Mali will be held on March 31 in Saint Petersburg.
It is worth noting that the Russian national team is currently suspended from international competitions based on decisions by FIFA and UEFA. Therefore, these friendly matches serve as an opportunity for the team to test its lineup and consider new players.
