Infantino: Players covering their mouths should be shown a red card

FIFA President Gianni Infantino emphasized that strict measures should be taken against players who cover their mouths when saying something to their opponents on the football field. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, such cases should be punished with a red card. This was reported by the euro-football.ru website.
In one of the recent UEFA Champions League matches, Benfica player Gianluca Prestiani covered his mouth with his shirt while talking to Real Madrid player Vinicius Junior. After that, the Brazilian player complained to the referee that he was subjected to racist insults by the opponent.
Infantino stated that in such cases, if a player covers his mouth while speaking and is later accused of racism, he should be punished with a red card. He emphasized that the issue here is not whether there was an insult or not, but rather simple logic: if there was no offensive language, why cover the mouth?
As a result of the match, Real Madrid defeated Benfica with an aggregate score of 3-1 and advanced to the next stage.
