Trump Honored Lionel Messi at the White House

US President Donald Trump received the MLS champion team "Inter Miami" at the White House. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At the ceremony, he compared the team captain Lionel Messi to the Brazilian legend Pele. Trump said he was proud to be the first US president to welcome Messi at the White House.
During the ceremony, Trump spoke in his unique style and also mentioned that his son is a big fan of Messi. According to him, among all the players in the team, Messi plays under the greatest pressure because only victory is expected from him always and everywhere.
President Trump emphasized that by winning the championship in the US, Messi once again proved that he is a true champion. Trump also discussed Pele and Messi.
Recalling the words "Pele was very great in football," he asked the audience "who is stronger?" and did not hide his opinion: in his view, Messi is stronger. This statement sparked major discussions on social media, as such comparisons are considered an eternal debate in football.
Trump added his opinion to this debate, intensifying the discussion. It is worth noting that Pele, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 82, was a three-time World Cup champion with the Brazil national team.
38-year-old Messi won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina and was a runner-up with a silver medal in 2014. This meeting at the White House was not just a simple congratulatory ceremony but also a PR event for the MLS and another historic stage for Messi.
Additionally, the debate "Pele or Messi?" was reignited. Now, the most interesting part for fans is how these words will affect the results on the field.
