Uzbek boxers achieved victory on the first day in Bangkok

The prestigious Futures Cup international boxing tournament for youth, held in the capital of Thailand, Bangkok, has successfully started. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
At this major competition, members of two national teams representing our country demonstrated their high potential on the very first day. On the opening day of the tournament, all four of our representatives who entered the ring secured confident victories over their opponents and earned places in the next round.
In the girls' 54-kilogram weight category, Sabrina Chakomanova competed against the Chinese Wang Yaorunyu. At the end of a tense and uncompromising fight, the judges recorded a victory for our compatriot by a two-to-one decision.
Also, in the boys' competitions, our representatives did not give their opponents any chance. Specifically, in the 50-kilogram weight category, Abdugani Yorqinjonov defeated Armenian Kirakosyan Tigran with a score of five to zero, while in the 60-kilogram weight category, Bobomurod Boymirzayev triumphed over Hong Kong's Ordonez Jefet with the same five to zero score.
At the end of the day, Saidxoja Sadillakhodjayev, who competed in the 70-kilogram weight category, also demonstrated his skill. He defeated New Zealander Collier Noa with a score of four to one and will continue his successful run in the tournament.
According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation, such bright victories by our young boxers inspire great confidence for the next stages of the competition. The upcoming fights of our representatives are arousing great interest among our fans.
